Wincanton announces new contract with leading ambient food supplier

Wincanton plc, the leading provider of supply chain solutions in the UK and Ireland, has secured a long term contract with LDH (La Doria) Ltd, one of the UK’s leading private label supplier of ambient grocery products.

Wincanton will provide LDH with warehousing and storage solutions and operations will be based across a number of warehouses in the South East. Wincanton will oversee some 10,000 shipping containers and handle more than 200,000 tonnes of products a year, with the vast majority of goods being unloaded by hand by Wincanton’s staff.
