Wincanton named as finalist for two 2022 eCommerce Awards
Wincanton, a supply chain partner for UK business, has been shortlisted for two awards at the prestigious eCommerce Awards 2022.
Wincanton’s efulfilment solution for Neal’s Yard Remedies has been shortlisted at the eCommerce Awards 2022 for the Best Innovation in Delivery Award.
Furthermore, Wincanton has also been shortlisted in the Best eCommerce Support Business – 200+ Employees – category.
Our collaborative eFulfilment solution for Neal’s Yard Remedies Organic, which blends robotics and wearable technology, has created a faster, safer, and more reliable operation, improving the customer experience for the award-winning natural and organic health and beauty company.
Automation and robotics are central to our strategy to drive service enhancement and efficiency in the eCommerce sector, and our success was recently recognised with a nomination at the National Technology Awards 2022.
This is the first time that Wincanton’s fast-growing eFulfilment business has been nominated at the eCommerce Awards, which are run in partnership with imrg, the UK’s eCommerce association.
The winners will be announced on 28 September 2022.
Donna Toye, Neal’s Yard Remedies Organic Operations Controller, said:
“We are delighted with the results achieved by the cobot pickers that Wincanton deployed in our fulfilment operation. These cobots have had a very positive impact on pick accuracy, ability to flex to fluctuating sales volumes, and stock accuracy, and provide us with accurate automated data that reduces the number of queries from our customer care team to the warehouse.”
Carl Moore, MD for eFulfilment at Wincanton, said:
“Being named as a finalist for two eCommerce Awards is testament to how Wincanton brings together new technologies with our people to deliver supply chain value for our customers.
“We continue to be impressed with how Neal’s Yard Remedies and our colleagues have embraced technology to deliver great service.
“We’re delighted to have been recognised for our success and shortlisted for these prestigious awards.”
