Wincanton’s shared user site at Corby has been certified to store organic food products to industry standard by the Organic Food Federation.

All products labelled as organic must be produced and processed by approved operators at each stage of their journey from ‘the farm to the fork’.

And after a successful audit from the Organic Food Federation, Wincanton’s Corby facility has been certified to store organic food products.

Rachel Gilbey, Director of Consumer at Wincanton, said:

"As a shared-user facility this certification is extremely valuable. More and more businesses are looking to secure flexible storage to respond to demands, so our ability to safely store organic food products at our Corby site means we can offer current and potential customers the level of service they need."

The Organic Food Federation is at the forefront of promoting organic methods, and maintaining high standards and best practice within the sector.

Organic produce must be inspected and certified at each stage of it journey to ensure its integrity as organic.
