Assembly, configuration and pre-retail services

By employing a mix of manual and mechanised processes to prepare product for the marketplace, Wincanton ensures that the highest standards of quality are upheld. We work not only with manufacturers to prepare their product for different markets, but also assist retailers by configuring their merchandise to enhance value. Whether the requirement is for a short-term promotional campaign or a longer-term volume-led production run, our solutions offer complete operational flexibility.

Investing in technology

We believe that investment in machinery is often needed to ensure the highest levels of productivity and quality, and have made substantial capital purchases at many of our sites to achieve this aim. Furthermore, we understand that deploying capital is not always possible for our customers, and we are happy to agree charging mechanisms that give access to state of the art technology without impacting on their cashflow.

As an integrated logistics provider, we are able to offer solutions that co-locate value-added services along with storage.  This not only reduces lead-time, but also helps reduce transportation costs and the impact on the environment.
