Sustainable milk collections and delivery solutions

Wincanton currently collects over one billion litres of milk per annum from farms across the UK and Ireland. We are at the forefront of modern practices within milk collection, including vehicle telemetry/in-cab solutions, high speed pumping, fleet design and driver training, and achieve best in class service levels, from collection and delivery in time, to compliance to specialist milk type handling requirements and milk sampling.

Wincanton is passionate about reducing the environmental impact of operations at the same time as improving efficiency. To support this goal our vehicles are fitted with telemetry allowing us to manage fuel consumption and we use high speed, more fuel efficient pumping equipment. We seek to lower both costs and carbon emissions by reducing miles. We increase payload through effective fleet design and optimising transport schedules.

Wincanton’s food grade bulk liquid operations move a variety of products on a daily basis ranging from sugar, water, juices and chocolate. Our service is flexible and scalable enabling us to provide a range of options for our customers from individual loads to long term contracts.
