Mainland Europe - sale of businesses

Wincanton withdraws from Mainland Europe to focus on the UK and Ireland.

In January 2012, we completed the sale of our businesses in Mainland Europe and have now refocused our logistics operations entirely on the UK & Ireland markets. During the latter part of 2011, the businesses in Mainland Europe were sold to three different companies:

Logistics operations in the Netherlands - JCL Transport und Logistik GmbH

German road activities and logistics operations in Central and Eastern Europe, covering Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary - Raben Group

Other logistics operations in Germany and France - Rhenus AG & Co. KG
