Wincanton is supporting the Aircraft Carrier Alliance (ACA) through the inspection, storage and distribution of parts from over 100 specialist suppliers to manage the build of the Queen Elizabeth Class aircraft carriers.

Wincanton has used its transport planning expertise and fleet to centralise and consolidate supplier deliveries to the central warehouse; achieving cost savings of up to 50% while at the same time increasing vehicle fill and minimising empty running through load consolidation.
